About Us

We are inspired by the modern woman who wants beautiful jewellery at fair prices, great quality & kind to the planet.

Our designs are influenced from a range of places; it can be the need for jewellery box classics with a twist, everyday minimalist jewellery or travels around the world.
 
As well as creating pieces to inspire and make you shine we use environmentally friendly processes throughout our manufacturing & beyond.  
Actions taken include;
  • Recycled 925 sterling silver & 18kt gold from Responsible Jewellery Council certified companies
  • Small production runs from artisan jewellers
  • Packaging made from recycled or reusable materials

Our Story

Francesca Dot was established in 2020 by our founder Holly while living in Sri Lanka. After 2 years working in the Sri Lankan garment industry she decided to follow her passion and pursue her dream of jewellery design. 
 
Working with local jewellery artisans we created a strong partnership ensuring quality of product and ethical production. 
 
Family and community is what we cherish and what fuels our creative fire. Family is also the inspiration behind our name –  ‘Dot’ is from Dorothea our beloved Grandma.

Product Care

To prolong the life of your jewellery follow our recommendations;  
  • Remove when showering.
  • Avoid contact with products like sanitisers, cosmetics, lotions, perfumes and deodorant.
  • Store your jewellery in a safe place (such as the Francesca Dot pouch) away from other pieces to avoid scratches.
  • Keep it in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
  • To clean your silver jewellery use a soft jewellery polishing cloth or a bowl of mild soap and warm water.
  • To clean your gold plating/gold vermeil product only with a soft jewellery polishing cloth or glasses cleaning cloth and avoid soaps & detergents.

Ring Size Guide

The most accurate technique is to have your ring size measured professionally in a jewellery shop.
If this is not possible you could follow the below;

1 – Buy a ring sizer online 

Remember that your finger can become swollen when hot or throughout the day. Therefore its best to measure a few times during the day or in the evening.
2 –  Measure your ring.
Take a ring which fits the desired finger. Measure the inside diameter of the ring with a measuring tape or ruler and select the ring size from the chart.

All items are shipped within 1-3 working days via the Royal Mail.
UK shipping – 1st Class Signed For.
Shipping leadtime = 1-2 working days.
International shipping – Tracked & Signed. 
Europe shipping leadtime = 3-5 working days.
Australasia shipping leadtime = 5-7 working days.

Items shipped internationally may be subject to customs or import duties & taxes.
Francesca Dot is not responsible for these charges and they will need to be paid by the customer.

Returns

Please note returns & exchanges are excepted within 14 days of you receiving the item. Please contact us via email to arrange. For non-faulty returns we will refund the cost of the goods only.

We recommend that you return your items via an insured, tracked and signed for delivery service as any lost or damaged goods will be your responsibility.
